Traveling down the Pacific Coast Highway my wife and I made a stop at the Consentino's flower shop across the famous Duke's Malibu restaurant.
If you've never been to Consentino's flower shop it's right on the corner, a quick left u-turn at the light and you park and fear for your car in the small parking spaces.
They have such a wonderful array of plants, but what caught my eyes were the succulents. I took lots and lots of pictures and then over heard the store clerk say that most of the plants came from their Malibu Nursery.
Into our SUV we went, after we bought a plant of course, and off toward the Malibu nursery. There's no huge sign and if you drive to fast you'll miss it, it's very hard to see, so much we missed it the first pass.
Once there we looked at all kinds of plants and arrangements. Then I saw them, Large Afterglow succulents. What a sight of colors and arrangements with distress. What you see is the arrangement I chose to draw. The one thing I regret is that I did not purchase that arrangement.
